Hi,
My name is Cassandra VanSyckle and I love MyGrafico.com and use images from many designers here to digitize and turn into all kinds of great projects. But this is a new one for me. As soon as I saw the great Reindeer from Dotted Daisy Designs I just knew I had to make this Design for a roll of Toilet Paper. It says "Ho Ho Ho...I'm Watching You!". I think it's hilarious!! So then I knew I wanted something for Thanksgiving so I found this great Turkey from Kelly Medina! It was perfect! It says "Eat Beef!...It's Better for Digestion!!
I had to gently roll out the toilet paper and fold over the first sheet and use basting spray to attach it to the 2nd sheet. I then used heavy weight stabilizer and used basting spray to attach the 2 layers to the stabilizer. I made sure when I digitized the designs that I did not use any underlay to minimize the amount of stitches that had to go onto the toilet paper and they turned out fantastic. Once them were done I cut away the additional stabilizer and then wrapped them in plastic wrap and tied them with a bow.I think they will be perfect for Hostess Gifts, Gag Gifts and to put in my Bathroom! Quick and easy to make and very inexpensive!! Plus if you mess up you just tear off the sheet and start over - LOL! You can view my submissions here:http://mygraficocrafts.blogspot.com/2010/11/mygrafico-christmas-challenge.html
These were really fun to make and I plan to make them as gifts for friends and family!
Thank you for viewing my submission!
Hugs!
Cassandra
